Job Description

  1. Invoicing
  • Issue invoice and credit note and ensure all supporting are attached and issued on timely basis
  • Issue statement of account/ Reminder letter to students for outstanding payment
  • Update the sale listing and ensure that sale listing are verified with invoice issue, supporting documents
  1. Cashiering
  • Ensure that collection modes are proper collected
  • Verified banknotes (USD or cheque) is valid and not fake
  • Issue receipt and verify of the amount received
  • Ensure all official receipts issue have supporting attached
  • Ensure that cash float keep safe
  • Daily cash hand over to the Supervisor
  • Updates the weekly outstanding balance
  • Report over/under between actual collection and collection reports
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained
  1. Specific on General Ledger (30%)
  • Record invoices into accounting system
  • Record credit note into accounting system
  • Record receipts into accounting system
  1. General (10%)
  • Perform other functions as necessary or assigned by Supervisor, Executive and Head of Division.
  • Assist Head of Division in any projects or tasks in relation to company goals and objectives.

Job purpose

The purpose of Officer, Account Receivable is to work with the Head, Finance and Corporate Services and Finance Team. The Officer, AR is reporting to Head Finance. 

job requirement

a)           Academic Education / Training / Experience

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, or any other internationally recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and having related work experience is an advantage.
  • Communication in English and computer skills related to accounting

b)          Personal Attributes

  • Willing to work flexibly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management skills
  • Strong ability in teamwork and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with others
  • Work well under pressure, well organised and with strong attention to detail
