Job Description

To work with all stakeholders and provides leadership, direction, and administration of the facilities, maintenance, and campus operations of Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA), a Cambodia registered subsidiary of SIM International Pte. Ltd.

The Head, Campus Operations is reporting to the Managing Director and is responsible for:


  • Develops operating budget and recommends priorities for departments and functions for which the position is responsible. Negotiates contracts and monitors expenditures to assure that budget is effectively and appropriately used.
  • Provides leadership and manage operations for:
    • Manage and support all the Estates & Facilities matters in SCIA. This includes, though not limited to, logistics, event, bus services, security services, cleaning services, F&B services, canteen operations, printing services, operations of the auditorium, lifts, etc
    • Ensure the above adhere to government regulations, public health safety restrictions and company protocol
    • Manage and work with contractors and vendor on new and existing projects and defects
    • Oversees record keeping and documentation for campus facilities including physical space inventory and related contracts and agreements 
    • Oversee the energy conservation program and other processes to reduce operations costs including preventive maintenance programs, contracts and procedures
    • Provides effective emergency or crisis response in matters related to campus facilities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher, major in Estate Management is preferred
  • Cambodians are encouraged to apply
  • Competent in Information Technology Skills
  • At least 8 years managerial capacity and work experience in Building, Campus development and corporate services, which include the coordination of, maintenance, renovations and facility management
  • Ability to effectively organize and direct personnel during crisis or emergency situations
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control all aspects of campus estate and facility operations and services
  • Experience in working in an international setting or educational institution is an advantage
  • Ability to establish good work relations and network with relevant government authorities
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving
  • Meticulous, analytical and self-driven
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with others
  • Willing to work flexibly in dynamic and fast-paced environment to cope with changes
  • Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines
