Account Manager, Student Admissions and Recruitment

Job Description

To work with the Head of Admission & Community Engagement, Student Admission & Recruitment of Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA), a Cambodia registered subsidiary of SIM International Academy Pte. Ltd., the Account Manager is responsible for the following areas:

  • Hitting the quarterly headcount sales target (recruitment of new students) as identified by the RO (reporting officer)
  • Create new network with new own network of families/parents from their past experiences, as part of transferable skills to this new role
  • Setting up appointments in meeting potential parents and their children, and recruit students into SCIA
  • Conducting campus tours and academic consultation with potential parents
  • Generating referrals from parents & prospects
  • Keeping up in organised order their prospects and leads list weekly to measure conversion
  • Assisting enrolled students and parents through admission process
  • Managing queries from parents and replying to parents on time and in an organised professional manner
  • Submitting appointment report and sales reports promptly each week
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
  • Setting personal sales targets, working within the aims of SCIA and in line with educational developments
  • Monitoring student and parent feedback, communicate to relevant stakeholders and assist to solve the collected feedback
  • Keeping abreast of the latest educational developments in the Phnom Penh market
  • Performing other functions as necessary or assigned by the Reporting Officer, Head of Department or Managing Director.

Job Requirement

  1. Academic Education / Training / Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in student admissions and recruitment or sales and marketing in consumer product/ services/ customer service
  • the ability to make a real difference in international education, and to take responsibility for making things happen
  • Proactive nature and possess an entrepreneurial attitude and approach
  • Experience in planning and running activities for events and roadshows
  • Experience in working in international schools or MNC will be an advantage
  • Conversant with the formal education and higher education industry. Knowledge of the overseas education market is a plus
  • Strong business, sales and marketing competency especially in international context
  • Strong network with Khmer conglomerate companies
  • Good business acumen
