Account Manager, Professional Development

Job Description

To work with Assistant Head of Business Development and Head, Enrichment and Professional, Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA), a Cambodia registered subsidiary of SIM International Pte. Ltd.

Account Manager, reporting to Assistant Head of Business Development and s/he is responsible for:

  1. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive Professional Development sales by designing and implementing targeted marketing strategies
  • Do desk research about training/education industries, particularly to keep on track the revolution of the market changes related the training provision and record into data collection form stored in share point.
  • Collect key findings about new contact lists tracking from different sources.
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather market insights and develop targeted sales strategies
  • Support and implement Professional Development marketing campaigns (exhibitions/trade-fair, roadshows…etc.,) and other events assigned by Professional Development division, as well as the school events (events organized by SCIA).
  • Do “Cold calls” and contact potential and existing customers/ parents on the phone, per email, and in person
  • Arrange meetings with potentials for promoting and selling training programme.
  • Analyse workforce training needs, recommend, and implement solutions, and evaluation measure effectiveness.
  • Attend business networking events to build up reputation and find more prospects.
  • Design TNA, course evaluation of the training documents based on training needs
  • Attend stakeholder discussions on the design and development programmes and curriculum, partner with internal and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives
  • Prepare and manage payment terms (billing document such as tax invoices, receipts)
  • Assess, implement, and conduct learner orientation programme (public speaking),
  • Coordinate all necessary communication and logistics for in-person training
  • Perform other tasks if applicable, which will be assigned by Reporting Officer or Head of Division.
  • Answer client queries about product specifications and offerings
  • Track sales data to ensure the company meets sales targets by quarter and the year
  • Write monthly reports and submit to Reporting Officer (head of PD).
  • Handle customers’ and prospects’ questions, inquiries, and complaints
  • Undertaking any duties as may be reasonably required by Supervisors

Job Requirement

(a) Academic Education / Training / Experience

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or related disciplines from an internationally recognised university
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and technology for use in data analysis, creating reports and presentations
  • Has an eye for detail and willing to be hands-on in engaging customers and managing events
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Creative and able to think out of the box
  • Has good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in teams and independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be prepared to work on weekends depending on public workshop runs
  • Proficient in English – both spoken and written
  • Results-oriented, self-driven, confident, and resilient
  • Have wide ranging network in key Khmer communities, including outreach plans on working and networking with Khmer VIPs/ excellencies/ trade and industry leaders
